Three posts in a row about my trashcans! But I know you have all been anxious about it, and will therefore be relieved to know that, according to UPS, they have arrived home safely at long last. This is thrilling. I can hardly wait to go and see them and start throwing things away. I can't remember the last time I got this excited about some trash cans. Probably, you know, never.
Speaking of trash! The new season of Tila Tequila! Or whatever! |
Are you a namer of inanimate objects? Because these cans, they are so fancy and have had such an arduous journey, they deserve names.
You are getting two, right?

You are so right. Yes, there are going to be two. Twins!! Hmmm. We should have a name the trashcans contest. Tomorrow I'll post a photo of them enjoying their new home, and then throw it to everyone.
If it's been a long time since you got excited over a trash can, then you obviously haven't seen Stick's magic Ali Baba trashcan. Because, well, it's MAGIC. Fo realz. BTW, the trash cans you got are exactly the same as my parent's kitchen trash can. I can vouch for the extreme fanciness of this trash can. I can also tell you that it creates a strangely satisfying trash can experience.
It is true. I have experienced it. I was fearful, but gradually became accustomed to its awesomeness, in the god-fearing mountain-shaking sense of the word.
And in that vein a recommend that you name them Little Boy and Fat Man.
